100 Thieves appoints NiceWigg as co-owner

100 Thieves has appointed Apex Legends and organization streamer Jack Martin, known online as NiceWigg, as a co-owner of the organisation.

The announcement was first made by 100 Thieves in a post on X (formerly Twitter) with an attached announcement video, stating simply: “Welcome, co-owner.” This was followed shortly after by NiceWigg, who wrote on the platform: “No longer a creator. Now a co-owner.”

The reveal was framed as a skit, with NiceWigg appearing confused after discovering he had been ‘dropped’ as a creator before learning from 100 Thieves Founder and CEO Matthew ‘Nadeshot’ Haag that he had instead been promoted to co-owner.

“You’re not a creator anymore. You’re a co-owner,” Nadeshot said in the video.

NiceWigg has been part of 100 Thieves since September 2021, initially joining as a content creator focused on Apex Legends. Prior to his move into content, NiceWigg competed professionally in the title and was among the first controller players to gain widespread recognition at the top level of Apex Legends esports.

Since joining the organisation, he has become one of the most prominent figures in Apex Legends broadcasting, known for co-streaming major Apex Legends Global Series events and building a large following around competitive coverage of the game.

According to the announcement, NiceWigg’s new role formalises his long-term position within the company, marking a transition from creator to part of 100 Thieves’ ownership group. The organisation did not disclose financial details or clarify whether the move involved an equity purchase or an internal promotion structure.

The news follows a series of recent competitive and business developments for 100 Thieves. The organisation has expanded its Counter-Strike 2 project with new signings and coaching appointments, while also securing tournament success in titles such as Marvel Rivals.
