1) Glenn Maxwell
Maxi‘s IPL career has hit a roadblock. He is in a well-performing team and is coached by someone who is very close to him. Yet, Maxi has not been able to score runs.
It is possible that his skills might have degraded due to age or other factors. It has been a while since he has done well in the IPL. Hence, it is unlikely that he will get a bid in IPL 2026 Auctions, assuming he is released by PBKS

2) Quinton de Kock’s IPL career could be over
Yes, it is a bit harsh, but there might be few or no takers for QDK in the upcoming campaigns. He had just one good game before he was dropped for KKR in IPL 2025.
QDK can get slow at times. This is not helping teams, which now expect runs at a good strike from their foreign opener. The likes of Ben Duckett are available on the market and in a Mini Auction, if QDK is released by KKR, there might be no bids for him.
