Pakistan team has been participating in the marquee event since its commencement in 1975 but became the world champion in 1992 under the leadership of Imran Khan and since then they have not won another title yet. Javed Miandad 

Probably the greatest batsman the Men in Green has ever produced, Javed Miandad leads the chart of most runs for Pakistan in the World Cup. From 1975 to 1996, Miandad marked his presence in every WC and amassed 1083 runs in 33 games at a captivating average of 43.32 with the help of 8 fifties and a solo century. The Legendary figure led the Pakistani batting unit from the front in the 1992 World Cup and was instrumental in Pakistan’s triumph, getting 437 runs in 9 matches, the 2nd highest in the edition. 

Saeed Anwar 

The best left-hand batsman to ever play for Pakistan, Saeed Anwar made the 2nd most runs for them in the World Cup. He made his first appearance in the tournament in 1996 and went on to play another 2 editions in 1999 and 2003 respectively. Having played 21 games, the Southpaw aggregated 915 runs, averaging an impressive 53.82. In the tough batting conditions of the late 90s and early 20s, the Karachi-born possessed daring and aggression, propelling him to score 3 centuries which is the joint most by any batsman. 

Inzamam Ul Haq

The only player who scored 20000+ runs for Pakistan in international cricket has made it to this elite list too. Inzamam had a long WC career consisting of 5 editions between 1992 and 2007. The healthy big man did not perform as well in the global event as he used to in the bilateral series. At a poor average of 23.90, he scored 717 runs, including 4 fifties. 

Ramiz Raza 

The man who is known for his excellent commentary after his antics on the field, Ramiz Raza gets 4th place on the tally of most runs for Pakistan in the World Cup. Featuring 16 matches, the ace batter notched up 700 runs. These runs came at a stunning average of 53.84. The 1992 installment of the World Cup was his best campaign, amassing 349 runs in 8 matches, the 2nd highest by any Pakistani, aiding his team to win their maiden World Cup.
