U.S. Solheim Cup Team Uniforms Unveiled by Dunning
The United States Solheim Cup Team was finalized after Stacey Lewis named her three captain’s picks this past Monday, and now we know what the 12 players and captains will be wearing at Finca Cortes in Andalucia, Spain.
On Wednesday, Dunning, in partnership with the LPGA, unveiled the U.S. Team uniforms and outerwear pieces for the three competition days and three days of practice rounds. Look for the Americans to be draped in a patriotic color palette featuring vibrant red, white, and blue hues in original prints crafted by Dunning. The script for the six days in Spain was conceptualized through joint efforts between the brand and the LPGA, with insights from Stacey Lewis, and distinctly captures the U.S. Team’s spirit.

“[The Dunning] team is open to all the ideas we’ve brought to the table and their expertise in working with these performance fabrics has elevated those ideas into some beautiful uniform pieces,” said Lewis. “I can’t wait for fans to see what they’ve created for 2023, and 2024 will bring an entirely new vision to our Solheim Cup uniforms.”
While all eyes will be on the sporty and sophisticated looks, the players will be comfortably walking the fairways in Southern Spain in the latest and greatest technical fabrics from Dunning. Since its founding more than 20 years ago, Dunning has been on the cutting edge of performance. In fact, it was the first in the world of golf fashion to develop a full line of technical apparel consisting of shirts, bottoms, and layering pieces.

The U.S. Team will don advanced performance fabrics, including COOLMAX, during the competition. The clothing line-up comprises polos, skorts, and shorts engineered with moisture-wicking properties, breathability, and ample stretch. For added warmth, players can select from an array of layering options suitable for diverse conditions, including a lightweight performance quarter-zip, a cozy hoodie, and a Primaloft insulated vest-jacket combination.
Variety extends beyond layering pieces to accommodate personal style preferences. Players can choose between traditional 5-button polos or tops featuring zippered plackets and blade-style collars, available in short-sleeve and sleeveless versions. In addition, they can opt for a 17″ skort or shorts with 5″, 7″, or 9″ inseams throughout the event.
Those of you who are GolfThreads OGs know that Dunning has been one of my favorite brands over the years. The combination of clean designs, innovative fabrics, pinpoint fits, and an authentic focus on serious players has led the brand to be a mainstay in my golf wardrobe.
While the brand’s influence in men’s golf fashion is well-known, its expansion into the women’s realm just over a year ago in Spring 2022 has now culminated in outfitting a team for the most significant women’s golf team competition, underscoring Dunning’s technical and fashion expertise.

The partnership between Dunning and Stacey Lewis extends beyond the tournament’s final putt at Finca Cortes. The duo will once again collaborate on designing the U.S. Team uniforms for the 2024 Solheim Cup, set to take place at Robert Trent Jones Golf Club in Gainesville, Virginia.
Here’s a day-by-day look at the U.S. kits for this year, all of which will be available as part of Dunning’s Solheim Cup Collection on dunninggolf.com, solheimcup2023.us/shop, and at a select group of country clubs, resorts, and golf retailers across the country.
