Kohli’s diet philosophy revolves around simplicity and discipline. He isn’t overly concerned about the taste of his food, and he is content with salads occasionally dressed with a bit of dressing. Remarkably, he has mentioned that he can stick to eating the same thing for up to six months, showcasing his unwavering commitment.

His diet includes not only steamed and boiled food but also pan-grilled items prepared with a touch of olive oil or other seasonings. Virat Kohli strictly avoids spicy or deep-fried foods and refrains from consuming masala curries. Instead, he primarily includes foods like dal, rajma, and lobia in his meals. 

During his innings, Kohli reached several milestones. He not only completed his 47th century in One-Day Internationals but also achieved the remarkable feat of becoming the fastest cricketer to score 13,000 runs in ODIs. This achievement further solidified his status as one of the greatest batsmen in the history of the sport.

Kohli’s partnership with KL Rahul was pivotal in India’s total of 356 runs, which proved to be insurmountable for Pakistan. His ability to build partnerships and anchor the innings was on full display.
