Watch- Sean Abbott Turns Into Superman As He Picks One Of The Best Catches Of All Time
Australian player Sean Abbott produced one of the best catches in the history of the game. His stupendous effort came during the ongoing third ODI of the five-match series between South Africa and Australia at Senwes Park in Potchefstroom.
Sean Abbott turned into Superman and plucked one of the most difficult catches in the history of the game. His catch even left South African batter Marco Jansen keeping a hand on his head, expressing that he couldn’t believe what happened.
It was during the 5th ball of the 47th over when Nathan Ellis bowled a wide yorker to Marco Jansen, who carved it with the outside half of the bat. The ball was sailing towards the boundary and it seemed that it would be six. But Sean Abbott did something unthinkable.
Sean Abbott came running in from the sweeper cover. He flung himself to his left and stuck his left mitt out to grab a stunner. Not only the catch but after bagging the catch he maintained balance on the slide as well. Here’s the video:

His effort sends dangerous-looking Marco Jansen back into the hut. The Proteas all-rounder was batting at 32 runs off just 15 balls before he was back. He smashed four boundaries and one six in his innings.

While his effort in the field was something to cherish for everyone, Sean Abbott didn’t have a good outing with the ball in the third ODI against South Africa. He was taken to the cleaners and was smashed all over the park. He conceded 31 runs in 3 overs and was taken out of the attack.
South Africa had a staggering effort with the bat as they posted a mammoth total of 338 runs on the board. Aiden Markram smashed an unbeaten century whereas Quinton de Kock (84) and Temba Bavuma (57) smashed vital half-centuries.
