Afghanistan World Cup Squad: Naveen-ul-Haq returns, Shahidi to captain | ICC Men’s ODI World Cup 2023: Afghanistan Cricket Board (ACB) announces a strong 15-member squad for the ICC Men’s ODI World Cup 2023, which is going to start from next month.

Naveen-ul-Haq made a comeback to the Afghanistan squad for the World Cup 2023, whereas Gulabadin Naib has been added as a reserve player for the marquee event.

Hashmatullah Shahidi is going to lead the Afghanistan Men’s Cricket Team in the World Cup 2023 in India. Shahidi is a top-order batter who is known for his aggressive style of playing cricket, but he didn’t played well in recent matches.

All eyes will be on Rashid Khan and Mujeeb-ur-Rahman, who are key spinners of Afghanistan, and they will be playing crucial roles for their team on the spin-friendly Indian Pitches.

The Pacer Azmatullah Omarzai returns from injury and will lead the Pace attack with Fazalhaq Farooqi, Abdul Rahman and Naveen-ul-Haq.
