Hard luck continues with Prithvi Shaw. The right-handed batter of India was out of the national team for injuries and off form. Recently Prithvi made his English domestic one day debut for Northamptonshire. While Playing for the team Shaw sustained a knee injury which will take him out of cricket for 3-4 months. Initially, it was expected that he would come back in a couple of months but now the reality has become more hard for him.
Prithvi Shaw made his first-class debut for Mumbai in Ranji trophy 2016=17 season and made a century in the second innings. He made his Duleep trophy debut with a century and broke Sachin Tendulkar’s record. Shaw was the captain of India’s U19 World Cup-winning team. On and Off form:
In 2020 Shaw was selected in the test squad for the Australia tour. But he didn’t perform well and dropped from the side. Even his batting technique was questioned because of his poor form. Even in that year IPL he was not in good form. In July 2021 he was selected for the Sri Lanka tour. He made his T20 debut but got out on a duck.
In August 2023, he made his debut in a day game in English domestic cricket. He was playing for Northamptonshire. He played an outstanding knock of 244 in 125 balls against Durham. During a game, he sustained a knee injury. It was a great setback for him when he was in superb form.
