Phil Salt goes 4, 4, 4, 6 as England score their most runs in first over of ODI

England are playing their third ODI against Ireland in a three-match series. Ireland won the toss and chose to bowl as English openers Philip Salt and Will Jacks took the field.

In the opening over of the match, bowled by Mark Adair, Phil Salt accomplished a unique feat as he struck three boundaries in the first three balls and followed it up with a six. Consequently, England’s total score after the first over reached 19, establishing a new record for scoring the highest runs in the first over of their ODI innings.
