The regular season of the Eric Shirley Shield has concluded with teams from both the Eastern and Western conferences securing places in the semifinals.
Each region has produced two teams for the knockout stage after finishing at the top of their respective conferences. From the Eastern Conference, KCB Rugby and Nondescripts RFC progressed after strong campaigns, while the Western Conference will be represented by Menengai Oilers and Kabras Sugar RFC.
In the Eastern Conference, KCB Rugby finished top of the standings after collecting 50 points, comfortably ahead of Nondescripts RFC who secured second place with 38 points to book their semifinal slot.
Strathmore Leos finished third with 33 points, followed by KU Blak Blad in fourth place on 25 points. Kenya Harlequin FC placed fifth with 15 points, while Daystar Falcons ended sixth on 9 points.

Impala RFC finished bottom of the Eastern Conference table with –4 points, having conceded several walkovers during the campaign.
In the Western Conference, Menengai Oilers topped the standings with 35 points after an impressive run during the regular season. Kabras Sugar RFC also finished with 35 points, but placed second due to an inferior head to head compared to Oilers.
Nakuru RFC finished third with 6 points, the same tally as Kisumu RFC who settled for fourth place due to points difference.
At the bottom of the Western Conference standings were MMUST Rugby Club, who managed 2 points during the campaign.
