KCB II and Menengai Oilers II have emerged as early pace-setters in the 2025/26 Eric Shirley Shield as both sides maintained perfect starts after three rounds of action in the Eastern and Western Conferences respectively.
In the Eastern Conference, KCB II sit comfortably on top with a flawless record of three wins from three matches. They have been devastating in attack, racking up 139 points while conceding just 21, giving them a massive points difference of +118 and a maximum 15 points including bonus points.
Their nearest challengers, Nondescripts II, remain within touching distance on 11 points after winning two of their three matches.
KU BlakBlad II occupy third place with nine points from two matches, remaining unbeaten so far, while Strathmore Leos II and Kenya Harlequin FC II are locked in the mid-table battle.

Impala II and Daystar Falcons II are yet to register a win, with Daystar anchored at the bottom after three consecutive walkovers and a significant negative points difference.
Over in the Western Conference, Menengai Oilers II have been nothing short of ruthless. The Nakuru-based side has piled on an incredible 217 points in just three matches while conceding only 23, an astonishing +194 points difference. They also sit on a perfect 15 points, making a strong early statement of intent.
Kabras Sugar II follow in second place with two wins from two matches and 10 points, keeping the pressure on the leaders.
Nakuru RFC II are third, while Kisumu RFC II and MMUST II are still searching for their first victories of the campaign. MMUST II remain rooted at the bottom after three losses, having struggled both in attack and defence.
