2025/26 Western Region Nationwide standings after week 3

Maseno University have stamped an early authority in the Nyanza region, topping the table with 15 points after three straight wins and an impressive +139 points difference.

Hot on their heels are Kisii Kifaru, also unbeaten, sitting second with 14 points and a strong offensive display reflected in their +110 PD.

Kisii Polytechnic, Winam Rugby, and Siaya RFC form a tight chasing pack, each securing two wins from their opening fixtures, tied at 9, 9, and 8 points respectively.

Further down the standings, Transmara Kilgoris (5 pts) and Homabay RFC (4 pts) have had mixed starts, while Rongo RFC, Oyugis RFC, and JOOUST are still struggling to find their footing after slow outings in the first three rounds.

In the Western A pool, Sigalagala Polytechnic have emerged as the early powerhouse, winning all three matches for 14 points with a commanding +100 PD.

Kibabii University trail closely in second place on 13 points, also unbeaten and showing strong defensive discipline.

Kaimosi RFC and Vihiga Granites follow in joint third with 10 points, each having collected two wins. Bungoma RFC round off the top five with 7 points, keeping themselves within touching distance of the leaders.

The rest of the region is tightly contested, with Mbale RFC, Webuye RFC, Busia Borderucks, and Kisiwa TTI all sitting on single victories, while Shamberere Polytechnic are yet to record a win.
