Wisconsin-Oshkosh is the unanimous top team in the final AVCA poll. The Titans, who secured the first national title in program history by winning their last 21 sets, are followed by runner-up La Verne, then fellow semifinalists Berry at No. 3 and Trinity (Texas) at No. 4.
Completing the final top 10 are No. 5 East Texas Baptist, No. 6 Wisconsin-Eau Claire, No. 7 Colby, No. 8 Calvin, No. 9 Illinois Wesleyan and Johns Hopkins. The top eight all reached the national quarterfinals.
Other Region VIII/IX teams in the final top 25: No. 15 Washington-St. Louis; No. 20 Wisconsin-Whitewater; No. 23 Dubuque; No. T24 Gustavus Adolphus; No. T24 St. Olaf.
