The Cincinnati Reds will be distributing and broadcasting their games through MLB this season. FanDuel Sports Network will no longer be the place to watch games. Instead you can buy the Reds.tv package through MLB or Reds.tv if you want to stream the games (this can only be purchased if you are in the Reds coverage area – otherwise you will just need to buy the regular ole MLB.tv streaming package. You can get all of the information at Reds.tv). Games will also still be on your cable and satellite provider this season if you are a local to the Cincinnati area and they were carried there last year. You should verify this with your service provider.
The first game of spring training is in six days, but the Reds and MLB have not released the schedule for broadcasts yet. Or at least they haven’t officially. But if you head over to the MLB.tv page and start looking, games are indeed listed there.
Most games will be on the radio. In years past the only games that weren’t available were on days when the team had a set of split squad games and thus the radio station would have to choose one of the games to broadcast and one that would be left on its own.
We will update this chart below when new updates are available. For as far back as I can remember there have almost always been games added at later dates, whether they were games to be covered by MLB Network, MLB.com, or an opponent just adding in an extra broadcast. Here’s what the known schedule looks like right now (last updated February 16):
