The stage is set for a thrilling semi-final round of the 2025/2026 Enterprise Cup, with East Africa’s finest clubs converging in Kenya and Uganda for what promises to be a blockbuster semi-final weekend on April 11.

Defending champions Kabras Sugar RFC will host familiar foes Menengai Oilers in a mouthwatering Rai derby at the ASK Showground Kakamega.

The clash rekindles last season’s final, where Kabras edged Oilers, and adds another chapter to what is quickly becomeing a rivalry in Kenyan rugby. With both sides in dominant form, fans can expect a high-intensity battle in Lurambi.

Kabras booked their semi-final slot in emphatic fashion, dismantling Ugandan giants Heathens Rugby Club 61–19 at the Royal Mutesa II Stadium. The result underlined their intent as they chase a remarkable sixth consecutive Enterprise Cup crown.

Oilers matched that statement with a commanding 60–15 victory over Buffaloes Rugby Club at the ASK Showground Nakuru, showcasing their attacking depth and setting up a high-stakes rematch against the champions.

The second semi-final will be staged at Kings Park Arena, where Black Pirates Rugby Club will face Kenya’s Nondescripts RFC.

Nondescripts advanced after a composed 29–13 win over KOBS, continuing their steady run in the competition.

Black Pirates, meanwhile, are the only Ugandan side left standing after pulling off the biggest upset of the quarterfinals, edging out KCB Rugby 11–10 in Kampala, a result that further extended KCB’s wait for an Enterprise Cup title, dating back to 2017.
