The Indian Open golf is once again part of the Asian Swing of the 2026 DP World Tour season and is co-sanctioned with the Professional Golf Tour of India.

The 2026 edition takes place to the DLF Golf and Country Club in New Delhi, India, having been staged at the venue since 2023.

The Indian Open was first held in 1964 as part of the Asian Tour before becoming part of the European Tour in 2015.

Eugenio Chacarra is the reigning champion after winning the Indian Open in 2025. He is back to defend his crown among the leading contenders for the Indian Open.

Other former winners include Peter Thomson, Kenji Hosoishi, Payne Stewart, Thongchai Jaidee, Anirban Lahiri, Matt Wallace, Stephen Gallacher, Marcel Siem and Keita Nakajima.
