The tournament is the opening event of the 2026 LPGA Tour season and is being played Lake Nona Golf & Country Club in Orlando, Florida, United States.
The Tournament of Champions, sponsored by Hilton Grand Vacations, is limited to players who have won an event in the previous two LPGA Tour seasons.
The Tournament of Champions was first held in 2019 and is the first prize of the new season in January each year.
A Lim Kim is the reigning champion after winning the 2025 Tournament of Champions, and she is backed among the leading contenders for 2026.
Other former winners include Eun-hee Ji, Gaby Lopez, Jessica Korda, Danielle Kang, Brooke Henderson and Lydia Ko.
