2026 ITA Division III Women’s National Team Indoor Championships Begin Tomorrow in Tennessee

COLLEGE GROVE, Tenn. – The 2026 ITA Division III Women’s National Team Indoor Championships will begin Friday, February 27, as top-seeded Washington University will make a bid for the program’s first team championship title while No. 2 UChicago will seek its fourth title in five seasons.

Hosted by Sewanee, the ITA Division III Women’s National Team Indoor Championships will be held across various sites in the College Grove area, including the Farm & Forge Club, 316 Tennis, The Ensworth School and the Adams Tennis Center.

Selection Criteria
The top 7 teams from the 2024-25 Final ITA Division III National Rankings received an invite with one spot reserved for Sewanee, Univ of The South. In the case of a decline, the next team in the rankings is selected until the field of eight is solidified.
Championship Host
The host for the 2026 ITA Division III National Women’s Team Indoor Championships is Sewanee, Univ. of The South from Sewanee, TN. The Tigers women’s program enters the 2025-2026 season at No. 27 in the ITA Collegiate Tennis Rankings sponsored by Tennis-Point. Sewanee has won 15 consecutive Southern Athletic Association championships and boasts 30 NCAA tournament appearances.
