The 2026 LIV Golf South Africa takes place from March 19-22 as the fifth event of the season. Watch a 2026 LIV Golf South Africa live stream of all the action.

The fifth of 14 events in the 2026 LIV Golf season, the tour is staged on the continent of Africa for the first time with The Club at Steyn City staging the inaugural LIV Golf South Africa.

It will be a 72-hole competition with a field of 57 players – 52 of them representing 13 teams and five individual players to make up threeball groupings take part.

LIV Golf South Africa Format & Schedule

All 57 players compete for a share of the $25 million prize pool in South Africa across four rounds with no cut. That includes the five individual players.

The action each day starts at 10.05am local time for Round 1, 12.15pm for Round 2 & Round 3 and 12.05pm for the final round. There is a shotgun start and all players on the course at the same time under the lights.

There are 52 of the 57 players are drafted into 13 teams of four and with each of the teams also playing for prize money based on the combined scores.

• Day 1 – Thursday, March 19
• Day 2 – Friday, March 20
• Day 3 – Saturday, March 21
• Day 4 – Sunday, March 22

The LIV Golf South Africa tournament carries a prize fund of $25,000,000 with $20,000,000 in the individual event and $5,000,000 amongst the winning teams.
