The 2025 season is still happening, but it is never too early to look ahead. Here is the 2026 NFL Mock Draft January 6.
1. Las Vegas Raiders- Fernando Mendoza, QB, Indiana
Mendoza has had a great season for Indiana, showing off his accuracy and smarts. He can use those talents to help turn around the Raiders, although improvements on the offensive line are needed as well.
2. New York Jets- Dante Moore, QB, Oregon
The Jets need a quarterback of the future and Moore has played efficient football this season. Their offensive line is set up well and they just need to find an offense that fits Moore’s talent.
3. Arizona Cardinals- Arvell Reese, LB, Ohio State
Reese showed great versatility, playing on the edge and at off-ball linebacker. The Cardinals need a quarterback, but if they are out of the range to get one, improving the defense more could be the move.
4. Tennessee Titans- Jordyn Tyson, WR, Arizona State
The Titans can get a good weapon for Cam Ward to use as he develops in Tyson. His medicals will need to be checked out at the combine, as he has had several injuries during college.
5. New York Giants- Carnell Tate, WR, Ohio State
Malik Nabers will return, but the Giants could use another receiver to help Jaxson Dart progress. Tate had a huge season and can help stretch the field vertically.
6. Cleveland Browns- Spencer Fano, OT, Utah
The Browns could go with a quarterback or wide receiver, but if none are within range, they need to take an offensive tackle. Fano is a good athlete who can get to the second level as a run blocker and can mirror pass rushers well too.
7. Washington Commanders- Rueben Bain Jr., Edge, Miami
Washington could use some help on their defense and Bain has played well in the CFP. He is a bigger edge rusher, but may need to move inside due to short arms.
8. New Orleans Saints- Peter Woods, DL, Clemson
New Orleans could use some better play on the interior of the defensive line and Woods did his job this season, even if Clemson had a disappointing season.
9. Kansas City Chiefs- Francis Mauigoa, OT, Miami
With Pat Mahomes coming back from injury, the Chiefs have to make sure he is protected. Mauigoa should work out at right tackle, but could move inside too.
10. Cincinnati Bengals- Caleb Downs, S, Ohio State
Downs is a top-three player in the draft class, but falls due to positional value. The Bengals need safety help and Downs does so much well that he can really help improve a bad defense.
11. Miami Dolphins- Makai Lemon, WR, USC
The Dolphins may move off Tyreek Hill this offseason, so Lemon could go nicely with Jaylen Waddle. Lemon won’t test with the best receivers, but finds a way to get open.
12. Dallas Cowboys- Jeremiyah Love, RB, Notre Dame
Javonte Williams played well for the Cowboys this season, but he is a free agent. Love could be the best player in the draft, but falls due to positional value. Dallas needs a lot of help on defense, but they may not be able to pass up on Love.
13. Los Angeles Rams (via ATL)- Mansoor Delane, CB, LSU
The Rams have gotten some solid run out of Emmanuel Forbes, but probably need to upgrade at corner. After a down 2024 season, Delane has been a great corner in 2025.
14. Baltimore Ravens- David Bailey, EDGE, Texas Tech
Baltimore needs more of a pass rush and that is what Bailey does best. He is a good athlete, but will not help against the run as well as other edge players.
15. Tampa Bay Buccaneers- Sonny Styles, LB, Ohio State
Lavonte David is aging and the Bucs could use a new leader on defense. Styles is a former safety and was a sure tackler in 2025.
16. New York Jets (via IND)- Jermod McCoy, CB, Tennessee
McCoy tore his ACL in January and did not play this season, but was great in 2024. The Jets traded Sauce Gardner and can try to replace him with McCoy if the medical checks come back positively.
17. Detroit Lions- Keldric Faulk, EDGE, Auburn
Detroit can get a pass rusher to go across from Aidan Hutchinson with this pick. Faulk is better against the run and can develop more as a pass rusher to help the team.
18. Minnesota Vikings- Avieon Terrell, CB, Clemson
Terrell played well despite Clemson’s struggles, showing good athleticism in the secondary. The Vikings’ improvement of the secondary could really help their defense for 2026.
19. Carolina Panthers- Cashius Howell, EDGE, Texas A&M
Howell may not have the measurables of the average NFL edge rusher, but his quickness on the edge can help a team. The Panthers rank near the bottom of the league in sacks.
20. Dallas Cowboys (via GB)- T.J. Parker, EDGE, Clemson
Parker didn’t have a great year for Clemson, but has played well previously in his career. The Cowboys can get an edge to go across from Donovan Ezeiraku if Jadeveon Clowney doesn’t return.
21. Pittsburgh Steelers- Denzel Boston, WR, Washington
Boston is a bigger-bodied wide receiver who runs better than expected. He can give the Steelers’ offense another receiver to take some attention away from DK Metcalf.
22. Los Angeles Chargers- Olaivavega Ioane, IOL, Penn State
The Chargers’ tackles were hurt this season and the whole line played poorly. Improving the interior of the line can help keep Justin Herbert upright.
23. Philadelphia Eagles- Kadyn Proctor, T, Alabama
Philadelphia loves to build in the trenches. Proctor played tackle at Alabama, but could move inside, which would really benefit the Eagles’ offensive line.
24. Buffalo Bills- Romello Height, EDGE, Texas Tech
Height has had a career year as an older prospect for Texas Tech. He can give some juice to the Bills’ pass rush.
25. Chicago Bears- Caleb Banks, DL, Florida
The Bears need to upgrade their defense and can start in the middle. Banks moves well for his size, but battled injury in 2025.
26. San Francisco 49ers- KC Concepcion, WR, Texas A&M
Concepcion bounced back from a bad 2024 with NC State to have a good season for the Aggies in 2025. The 49ers no longer have Deebo Samuel or Brandon Aiyuk and can get some help for the receiving core.
27. Houston Texans- Caleb Lomu, OT, Utah
The Texans have an awesome defense and need to focus their draft on improving the offensive line to help CJ Stroud.
28. Cleveland Browns (via JAX)- Elijah Sarratt, WR, Indiana
After they drafted an offensive lineman earlier, they can get a good possession receiver in Sarratt now.
29. Los Angeles Rams- Kayden McDonald, DL, Ohio State
Taking a quarterback to succeed Matthew Stafford could be an option, but there may not be any worth the pick here. McDonald is the best player available and can give the Rams another good defensive lineman to use.
30. New England Patriots- R Mason Thomas, EDGE, Oklahoma
The Patriots need a pass rusher to help their defense. Thomas is undersized, but has a lot of juice on the edge.
31. Denver Broncos- Kenyon Sadiq, TE, Oregon
Teams are using more tight ends and Sadiq can present a matchup problem for defenses.
32. Seattle Seahawks- CJ Allen, LB, Oregon
The Seahawks have a good secondary, but a linebacker could make their defense even better in 2026.
