Close behind are Plascon Mongers, who climbed to second place with 12 points following a narrow 17-16 victory over Impis. The tight contest proved crucial in shaping the top end of the standings.
Heathens and Buffaloes are level on points, separated only by points difference. Heathens boast a superior +74 compared to Buffaloes’ +48, with both sides delivering commanding defensive displays in their most recent outings, keeping their opponents scoreless.
After the loss to Mongers, Impis sit fifth with 10 points, having secured two wins and collected two bonus points from their three matches.

Victoria Sharks slipped down the table after a draw with Walukuba Barbarians and a single win, leaving them on nine points. Kobs moved up the standings following an emphatic 50-12 victory, and now hold a points difference of +36, while Walukuba Barbarians sit on +28.
Jinja Hippos have dropped after losing two of their three matches. With just one win, they sit on four points and a points difference of -48.
At the bottom of the table, Kakira Simbas, Rhinos and Warriors are yet to register a win. All three sides remain without a point as they look to turn their campaigns around in the coming fixtures.
