2026 women’s conference tournament tracker

Taylor Thiry saved St. Norbert’s season twice — once at the end of regulation, and then again in overtime — in Friday night’s NACC semifinals.

In Division III basketball, “March Madness” starts in mid-February. There are 43 automatic qualifying bids (AQs) into the 64-team NCAA Division III women’s basketball tournament and 42 of those AQs are awarded to conference tournament winners. The UAA is the lone conference that awards its AQ to its regular season champion, which is once again New York University.

Conference playoffs start with first-round games as early as February 18 and then run through the last championship games on Sunday, March 1.

Now that we’re in the NCAA Power Index (NPI) era, where at-large bids are handed out according to numerical criteria, we don’t have to guess at teams’ tournament chances any more. You can click here to get the NCAA’s most recent NPI rankings or view D3datacast’s more user friendly version here

You can also follow all the men’s conference tournaments here.
