As an avid bikepacker, I know firsthand how much the right gear matters. Without it, I would’ve frozen my butt off on the Ausangate Circuit in Peru (okay, I still kind of did…), wandered off route on a solo trip through Slovenia (no comment), or run out of water on the Queen’s Ransom in Arizona (thankfully avoided that one).
But if you’re not deep in the world of bags, gadgets, and ultralight gear we obsess over, finding a great gift for the bikepacker in your life can feel… daunting. So I’ve made it easy. Below is a curated list of my favorite bikepacking gift ideas—things I personally use and love, or would happily tear into on Christmas morning.
From true essentials to thoughtful little ‘luxuries,’ these picks are sure to spark new adventures and make any bikepacker’s next trip just a little bit better.
