Blessing Muzarabani was brilliant against India in the recent series. The Zimbabwe pacer did well with the new ball and also impressed many with his variations in the death overs. In the past, he has been in IPL as a net bowler. He definitely has the skills to get an IPL contract. On that note, here, we take a look at the list of three franchises that could target Blessing Muzarabani for IPL 2025.
1) Delhi Capitals
The bad form of Anrich Nortje was one of the reasons why DC did not do well in IPL 2025. The franchise will need someone who can keep fit for 14 matches.
Muzarabani may not be an option as the first-choice overseas pacer but as a backup seamer, he can do a decent job. Considering he bowls at all the phases, he adds great value to the side.
2) Kolkata Knight Riders
KKR is one of the franchises that could target Blessing Muzarabani for IPL 2025. It is not sure if Mitchell Starc would be available for the next season. If he misses out, KKR will have to set up a new pace attack.
KKR has always picked some under-rated names and brought the best out of them. Muzarabani is a talented cricketer and with a coach like Bharat Arun in the side, he will further improve. Hence, KKR is one of the sides that could target the cricketer.
3) Gujarat Titans
GT has been struggling to find a good overseas seamer for the side. They just have not been able to find the right option. Hence, they can target someone like Muzarabani, who is quite under-rated.
At Ahmedabad, you need pacers who can excel with the new ball and also work out a few variations in the end. In this regard, GT might be a good place for the 27-year-old pacer.
