3 New Zealand cricketers part of the historic series win whom Stephen Fleming can target for CSK

The main players responsible for New Zealand’s series win in India are already a part of the Chennai Super Kings. The management could try to get the likes of Rachin Ravindra back. At the same time, Fleming could target a few other Kiwis who have done well for the side. On that note, here, we take a look at the list of three New Zealand cricketers part of the historic series win whom Stephen Fleming can target for CSK.

1) Glenn Phillips

It is a no-brainer that Glenn Phillips will draw the attention of many franchises in IPL 2025 Mega Auctions. CSK will be particularly interested in him.

He can play as a finisher, keep wickets and also bowl off-spin. This combination will fit the requirement of the franchise. Hence, Fleming could go big for him.

2) William O’Rourke

William O’Rourke is one of the New Zealand cricketers part of the historic series win whom Stephen Fleming can target for CSK. It has already been reported that Fleming has intentions of signing the young pacer for CSK.

Going by his performances, he surely will be in demand at the auctions. A young, tall pacer, William would be a good investment for any side looking at the future. Fleming knows how to get the best out of Kiwi players and hence, he could target the young pacer.

3) Matt Henry

Matt Henry was a part of CSK before but he hardly played for them. He was a part of the LSG setup as a replacement signing in IPL 2024. However, he could not put up a great show.

While CSK will have Matheesha Pathirana as the lead overseas pacer, they might need a backup choice. Henry offers skills a bit different from Pathirana does and hence, he could be an option in this regard. He also has the experience to lead the side’s bowling attack.
