1) David Miller
David Miller has played for Rajasthan Royals before. If Rahul Dravid cannot get back or retain Shimron Hetmyer, Miller would be a reliable option to have for the franchise. He adds experience to the line-up.
Miller plays for both the Barbados Royals and the Paarl Royals. He has had a good run in the last few years in IPL although his last season was not that great. Anyways, he is a good option to have in the team.
2) Kwena Maphaka
Kwena Maphaka is one of the players from sister franchises whom Rahul Dravid could target for Rajasthan Royals. The teenager played for Mumbai Indians in IPL 2024. It was a good learning curve for him. However, he has a long way to go.
Rahul Dravid likes young cricketers and he could target Kwena Maphaka as the future replacement for Trent Boult. Dubbed as the next Rabada, Maphaka has all the attributes to become a superstar bowler. He needs time and if RR can offer that, there would be a solid player on their hands.
3) Naveen-ul-Haq
Naveen-ul-Haq is a part of the Barbados Royals in the ongoing CPL. A wily customer, Naveen is known for his variations and ability to break partnerships.
He often goes under the radar and yet, more often than not, he turns up with some important contributions for his side. The Afghan is just 24 and already has a lot of experience in the IPL. He would be a useful addition to the Royals setup.
