Green will be in great demand at the next auctions. For CSK, he would be the right player to add balance and some power in the top or the middle order. The franchise is also in need of some winning pedigree, and Green can surely add that to the franchise.

The Kiwi all-rounder renders great balance to the side. He can finish games with the bat and is a bank with the ball. Especially on turning pitches, having him as the third spinner is a better approach than always having a third spinner for all the conditions.
3) Tanush Kotian
Noor Ahmed and Ravindra Jadeja will be the main spinners of the side. CSK must use the right-arm off-spinner only if there is a need. R Ashwin is expensive and hence, a cheaper alternative like Tanush Kotian could give better value to the side.
