Cooper Kupp is a Super Bowl–winning wide receiver now suiting up for the Seattle Seahawks — and as he prepares to face the New England Patriots in Super Bowl LX on Sunday, February 3, his biggest support system remains at home. From a wife he calls his rock to generations of football bloodlines, Kupp’s family story runs deep. Here’s what you need to know.
1. Cooper Kupp Says His Wife Anna Is the ‘Absolute Warrior’ of Their Family
Kupp married Anna Marie Kupp (née Croskrey) in 2015, and the couple now share three sons. Speaking with People in June 2022, Kupp credited Anna for carrying the load during football season.
“I go in very early in the season and my wife then is taking the brunt of the mornings,” he said. “Every morning, she’s got the boys… The things she allows me to do to pursue being the best version of me as a football player could not be done without her.”
Anna regularly attends his games and posts family moments from the sidelines. After Seattle clinched a playoff spot in December 2025, she wrote on Instagram that she would “never stop being proud of the man” he is. Kupp replied, “I love you Anna Marie. Thank you for being my rock.”
2. Cooper Kupp Comes From Three Generations of Football
Football runs in the family. Kupp’s grandfather, Jake, played on two Rose Bowl teams at the University of Washington before becoming a Pro Bowl guard with the New Orleans Saints. His father, Craig Kupp, played quarterback at Pacific Lutheran University and later played in the NFL for the Phoenix Cardinals and Dallas Cowboys.
That connection resurfaced during a 2019 broadcast when Troy Aikman realized Craig had once been his backup.
“Cooper Kupp’s dad was my backup at one point for the Cowboys back in 1991,” Aikman said on air. “Craig, I miss you my man, hope you’re well.”
3. Cooper Kupp and Anna Are Raising Three Boys
The couple welcomed their first son, Cooper Jameson “June,” in July 2018. Their second, Cypress Stellar, arrived in January 2021, followed by Solas Reign in June 2023.
Announcing Solas’ birth, they wrote on Instagram, “Born into his mother’s arms, we are so thankful for the blessing of this third little soul we get to raise up into a man of God!”
Kupp has often shared how Anna supports everything from nutrition to injury recovery while also managing life with three young kids.
“It’s hard to put into words,” he told ESPN. “I just don’t think I can sit here and tell you just off the top of my head and have it do her the justice that she deserves.”
4. Cooper Kupp’s High School Friend Says Anna Keeps Him Grounded
Kupp’s longtime friend Austin Wagner summed it up simply.
Cooper’s best friend from high school, Austin Wagner, elaborated, saying, “Anna is his rock.”
“I don’t think there’s a Cooper without what Anna’s done for him,” he told ESPN. “She’s a person that really expects a lot out of the people around her and has kind of a high threshold for excellence … Cooper works harder because of that.”
He added that her high standards push Kupp to be better on and off the field.
5. The Family Has Followed Every Step of Cooper Kupp’s Rise
From Yakima’s Davis High School to Eastern Washington University, then NFL stardom with the Rams and now Seattle, the Kupp family has been there through every chapter.
As Kupp prepares for Super Bowl LX, his journey reflects more than personal success — it highlights a tight-knit family built on faith, discipline, and football tradition.
