Time changes a lot of things in the IPL. A few players could become millionaires out of nowhere. On that note, here, we take a look at the list of five players earning less than INR 1 Crore but will now earn more than INR 10 Cr in IPL 2025.
1) Rinku Singh
From earning just above INR 0.5 Cr to now becoming the top retention for KKR above INR 13 Crores, it is a big step up for Rinku Singh. Now, with Shreyas Iyer not there, it will not be a surprise if the management sees him as a skipper.
2) Rajat Patidar
Rajat Patidar is one of the players earning less than INR 1 Crore but will now earn more than INR 10 Cr in IPL 2025. His salary was INR 20 Lakhs but now will earn INR 11 Crores. Having retained behind Virat Kohli, Rajat will be expected to perform well.
3) Dhruv Jurel
It was a surprise that Rajasthan Royals paid INR 14 Crores to retain the services of Dhruv Jurel. However, considering the age and the talent of the cricketer, it can be said that the youngster deserves a rise. He will now be under pressure to do better in IPL 2025.
4) Tristan Stubbs
Tristan Stubbs is also one of the players earning less than INR 1 Crore but will now earn more than INR 10 Cr in IPL 2025. It is a surprise that he was sold at his base price in IPL 2024 Auctions. Now, he will earn INR 10 Crores not including the match fees. He is a top finisher and will partner with Axar Patel for the job.
5) Matheesha Pathirana
It is no surprise that he will be earning more than INR 10 Cr in IPL 2025. A find by CSK, the kind of bowler that he is, Pathirana probably even deserves more. He will lead the bowling attack for CSK in the future.
