The ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024 was surely a special event, and it will go down in the history books for a lot of reasons.

1) Highest score in Men’s T20 World Cup
India and South Africa both finished with eight match wins. However, India’s 167/7 in the final, was the highest by any team in the final of a men’s T20 World Cup.
2) Most wickets in a single series
The T20 World Cop was a tournament that was great for bowlers. Fazhalaq Farooqi of Afghanistan and Arshdeep Singh of India, both managed to secure 17 wickets, which is by far the most in a single series.
3) Best bowling average
The sensational Jasprit Bumrah of India got to the end and finished the series with the best bowling average, with a fabulous number of 8.3.
4) 4-wicket maiden over
England Fast bowler Chris Jordan, secured a record for a maiden over with 4 wickets, three of them being as a hat-trick.
5) 4 complete maiden overs
New Zealand fast bowler Lockie Furguson became the first man to bowl four maiden overs in a T20 World Cup spell. He finished figure of 3/0 (4) against Papua New Guinea.
