Chelsea Green: ‘Whenever Anyone Gets Released’ From WWE, ‘I Give Them The Names’ Of AEW And TNA Contacts

Chelsea Green recently opened up about how she supports fellow wrestlers immediately after they are released by WWE. Speaking in an interview with Denise Salcedo, the current AAA Mixed Tag Team Champion detailed her process of reaching out to talent who have lost their jobs.

Green, who experienced her own release from the company in 2020 before returning three years later, explained that she wastes no time in providing resources to those affected. She admitted that she immediately sends contact information for other promotions to help them secure future bookings.

“Whenever anyone gets released, the first thing I do is I message them. I’m sure everyone hates me for this, but the girls love me for it, I give them the names of the AEW people that I know that they can contact and the TNA people that they can contact and then anyone else, that ‘I think you can work here, here or here.’”

Green’s Success Since Return

The 34-year-old has experienced significant success since her return to WWE during the 2023 Royal Rumble. After working her way back to the company by performing across multiple promotions, Green has since captured the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship and the Women’s United States Championship on two occasions.

Green’s journey saw her work across the independent scene and major companies during her time away from WWE. This experience allows her to provide specific contacts and advice to those looking to navigate the landscape outside of the sports entertainment giant. Green is currently enjoying a successful run, holding championship gold alongside Ethan Page in AAA.
