OverActive Media division Movistar KOI has partnered with Berlin-based product and price comparison platform idealo internet GmbH.
Financial terms of the new deal were not disclosed.
With offices in Madrid, Spain, Movistar KOI is an esports club with a massive Spanish-speaking audience. The organization currently competes in League of Legends (League of Legends EMEA Championship, or LEC), Pokemon Unite. The organization used to field a roster in Valorant Champions Tour EMEA (VCT EMEA), but that ended in September 2025 when Riot removed it from the league and later replaced it with French esports organization Gentle Mates.
“Proud to welcome idealo internet GmbH as a new partner for Movistar KOI!,” said OverActive Media CEO Adam Adamou in a social media post promoting the new deal. “Over the last two years we have been building hashtag#MKOI around our creators and our community, treating content as a core product, not an afterthought. This partnership is another step in that direction and a strong signal of what brands in Europe see in this project.”
It is unclear what this new partnership entails, as the announcements on social media were fairly thin, but one would assume it would include promotional branding opportunities, prominent logo placement on team jerseys, and promotion in creative content across social media and other platforms.
Berlin-based idealo describes itself as one of the leading product and price comparison platforms (though it may be better known for its travel and accommodations price comparison services) in Europe and one of the largest portals in the German e-commerce market. It claims to garner more than 2.5 million page impressions per day, and facilitates more than 50,000 connected online shops.
