Ever since Cody Rhodes has won the undisputed WWE title at the WrestleMania, he has been haunted by the newly formed Bloodline led by Solo Sikoa while being flanked by Tanga Loa, Tama Tonga and Jacob Fatu. One of the most obvious questions that is around the corner for the WWE Universe is are they willing to see Solo Sikoa, the new self-proclaimed Tribal Chief as the WWE champion?
Former WWE manager Dutch Mantell said that it is highly unlikely that such a scene would happen as chances are less that WWE will allow Cody Rhodes to drop the belt now, considering the popularity that it carries with it. Truth be told, obviously, the belt carries a significant weight and it will need a personality alongside the heavy wrestling flair.
Here is what Dutch Mantell had to say why Solo Sikoa won’t win the title now
Talking on Smack Talk podcast, Mantell said, “My answer would be, not no, but hell no. Because that belt is reserved for three people. It’s for Cody, it’s for Roman, it’s for The Rock. So if they put Solo Sikoa, it’s not really exclusive that much if they’re gonna put it on him. But no, I don’t expect him [Cody] to lose. But I do expect SummerSlam to be a great show.”
As per the veteran, the time is still not right enough and WWE will have to wait for Solo Sikoa to be groomed to that level of carrying the belt. He is undoubtedly one of the best but when it comes to being the face of the industry, it will need more than his heavy-duty wrestling and a storyline that will make the fans go gaga for him.
With the return of Roman Reigns imminent, fans believe that the Bloodline saga is just entering a new vertical and it is going to be a full-blown war which a few fans are comparing to the ‘Raw is War’ era. Only time shall tell what is next but expect madness to reign supreme.
