The main event of SummerSlam 2024 was a chaotic yet shocking affair that had the WWE Universe enthralled to their feet. However, it seems that night did not end on a good note for Jacob Fatu, or it was a planned move by WWE for something bigger.

The final match on the SummerSlam 2024 card featured Solo Sikoa going up against Cody Rhodes for the Undisputed WWE Championship. Adding much intrigue, Rhodes agreed to face Sikoa in a Bloodline Rules match, which meant anything goes without stoppage.

Right before the chaos interrupted, Solo and Cody went back and forth against each other and landing heavy blows and moves as the richest prize in sports entertainment was on the line. Towards the closing of the bout, the Bloodline Rules came into effect as Tonga Loa and Tama Tonga first interfered to attack Cody Rhodes. The attack did not last long as Kevin Owens and Randy Orton came to his aid and diffused the threat.

However, following a brief one-on-one situation, Jacob Fatu next came and decimated Cody Rhodes. In the last of his attack, Fatu dived from the top of the rope onto Cody Rhodes, who was lying on the announcer’s desk. Right after, Fatu seemingly injured his leg and was having difficulty standing up.

As the fans saw the finish, Roman Reigns returned to take down Solo Sikoa and helped Rhodes retain his title. Following the end of the bout, Dr Chris Featherstone dropped a video on social media showing Jacob Fatu being helped to the back.

Moreover, it has also been speculated that the angle was orchestrated to keep Roman Reigns’s confrontation with Jacob Fatu, whom the fans see as an even bigger feud than Solo. So, we will have to wait and see if Fatu is seriously injured or it was a planned angle by WWE.
