PTR Launches New Coach Development Center to Streamline Education Acro
– Florida Tennis

The Professional Tennis Registry (PTR) has announced the launch of its new Coach Development Center, a learning management system designed to centralize and modernize coach education across multiple racquet sports.

Now available at ptracademy.org, the Coach Development Center serves as a single hub for education in tennis, pickleball, padel, and platform tennis. The platform brings together learning resources from PTR, PPR, PCR, and PPTR, allowing coaches to access certifications, continuing education, and professional development tools in one streamlined system.

PTR developed the Coach Development Center with the goal of making education more accessible and easier to navigate for today’s racquet sports professionals. Rather than managing multiple platforms for different sports or credentials, coaches can now track and organize their education in one place. The system includes certification courses across all supported racquet sports, extensive on-demand video libraries, and virtual conferences and webinars led by industry experts.

The platform is designed to support coaches at all stages of their careers, whether they are pursuing certification, maintaining credentials, or expanding into a new racquet sport. PTR also confirmed that select courses will be available to nonmembers for a fee, extending access to professional education beyond its existing membership base.

To better serve its international coaching community, the Coach Development Center offers content in multiple languages. This approach allows coaches around the world to engage with educational materials and stay connected regardless of their location. In addition to formal learning, the platform includes engagement tools that encourage interaction, collaboration, and knowledge sharing among coaches.

Current PTR members can access the Coach Development Center by logging in at ptracademy.org using their existing credentials. New users and nonmembers can explore available courses and create an account directly through the platform.
