Impala hand Israel Soi a start against Strathmore Leos

Impala Rugby have confirmed a 23-man squad as they prepare for their next league assignment against Strathmore Leos set for Impala Grounds.

The front row will be anchored by Warren Akaranga, Onesmus Kinyanjui and Brian Ochieng, a trio expected to provide stability at the scrum and dominance at the breakdown.

Behind them, the engine room pairing of Leon Onduso and Tyson Okoth, who also captains the side. In the loose forwards, Victor Imela, Bonface Ogot and Billy Arigi form the back row.

The halfback combination of Keith Baraza and Eric Muthama will dictate the tempo, linking the forwards and backs.

Out wide, speed and finishing power comes from Derrick Kinyari and Quinto Ongo, while the midfield pairing of Israel Soi and George Okowa.

At fullback, Meshack Andale will be responsible for counter-attacks and last-line defence.
