Fiji top of the World SVNS Series men’s standings after the Singapore leg, but the title race is shaping up to be one of the tightest in recent seasons.
The Fijians lead the table with 52 points, continuing to set the pace on the world series. However, they are under pressure from New Zealand, who sit second on 48 points, just four behind the leaders.
South Africa and France are tied in third and fourth place with 46 points each, keeping themselves firmly in the championship hunt as the season moves into its final stretch.
Hosts of the next leg, Australia, are fifth with 38 points, while Argentina sit sixth on 32 points after a mixed campaign so far.

New Zealand lead the Women’s Sevens series with 58 points, edging out their closest rivals Australia, who sit just two points behind on 56.
The USA has secured third place with 40 points while Canada, France, and Japan are all tied on 36 points, making the battle for the remaining podium spots intensely competitive.
Fiji remains in contention with 32 points, and Great Britain trails the pack with 18 points.
