Throwback Thursday: Tinker Juarez Through the Years

Tinker Juarez was one of the top BMX racers in America in the late 1970s and ’80s. Then he switched to mountain bike racing and became one of the top mountain bike racers in the world. He’s still racing today, too. Here are some photos of him from the last 46 years.

Tinker pours the last of his champagne over Ned’s head, while Ned looks like he’s trying to spray Tinker with more champagne. Tomac, on the left, looks like he’s having a swig of the champagne from his own bottle, after having already sprayed much of it on the other guys.

Tinker gets mobbed by the journalists for post-race interviews after one of  his 1990’s races.
