Cam Skattebo Makes Announcement on Tuesday

Cam Skattebo’s promising rookie season came to a premature end on October 26, 2025, when the New York Giants announced he would miss the remainder of his first NFL campaign after suffering a dislocated right ankle against the Philadelphia Eagles. The fourth‑round pick from Arizona State had quickly become one of the most exciting young backs in the league.

Before the injury, in just eight games he rushed for 410 yards and five touchdowns, caught 24 passes for 207 yards and two scores, and flashed the physical running style that made him a standout in college. His hard‑nosed approach and connection with quarterback Jaxson Dart made him a key part of the Giants’ early season identity, and the injury was widely viewed as one of the biggest setbacks in New York’s 2025 season.

While sidelined and in recovery, Skattebo has kept a high profile off the field. He’s engaged with fans on social media and explored new opportunities beyond football, including gaming and brand collaborations.

On Tuesday, Skattebo announced a new partnership with Bum Drink, posting a video ad on Instagram to share the news with his followers.

“BUM Energy doesn’t do half speed, and neither do I. Proud to announce I’m officially fueling with a brand dedicated to the ones who show up and leave it all on the field,” Skattebo wrote.

This partnership ties Skattebo to a beverage brand that markets itself around energy and performance, positioning its product as fuel for athletes and competitors alike.

Bum Drink has been gaining traction in sports circles for its focus on athletes and fitness‑minded consumers. By aligning his personal brand with a company built around high‑energy lifestyles, Skattebo continues to grow his off‑field presence while rehabbing his injury.

With his season over, Skattebo’s focus will shift toward preparation for the 2026 NFL season under new head coach John Harbaugh. He will hope to return to full strength and pick up where his breakout rookie year left off.
