MJF On CM Punk: ‘I’d Love To Beat The S**t Out Of Him. Just For Sh**s And Giggles’

MJF has unleashed a tirade against his former rival, CM Punk, while making media rounds at Super Bowl Radio Row in San Francisco. With both the AEW World Champion and the WWE World Heavyweight Champion present in the same city for the festivities, questions regarding their proximity were inevitable.

Speaking to Compas on the Beat, MJF was asked about Punk’s presence at the event. The MJF did not hold back, dismissing the significance of Punk being there and redirecting the focus to himself.

“Who could possibly give a shit. It’s about me right now. Fuck him. It’s always about me,” MJF said. “I’d love to beat the shit out of him. Just for shits and giggles. I would love to literally be put in a situation where I could bash his stupid fucking face in again.”

A Fluke Victory

The two men have a history, dating back to their rivarly in AEW and having been in one of the promotion’s most praised feuds. Their program culminated in a Dog Collar Match at Revolution 2022, where Punk went over with assistance from Wardlow. MJF still views that loss as illegitimate.

“He had a fluke victory over me in the dog collar match because of that schmuck Wardlow. The only time I lose, somebody cheats,” MJF stated. “I had CM Punk’s number, I beat him twice in Chicago.”
