WWE SmackDown Results (2/6/26): Live Match Updates and Highlights
WWE stars are shown arriving at the venue. Drew McIntyre is seen in gorilla position before making his entrance—until Cody Rhodes blindsides him from behind and launches a surprise attack. Cody sends Drew into the apron and then the ring post. He throws Drew into the crowd, and security steps in to hold Cody back from continuing the attack. Drew grabs his title and heads to the back.
Cody enters the ring with something to say. He asks Drew if he really thinks things are going to stay the same—because they won’t. Cody reminds him that he was eliminated from the Royal Rumble by someone who wasn’t even in the match. For the first time in his career, he says he can’t, in good conscience, point to the WrestleMania sign.
On Monday, he heard CM Punk and Roman Reigns declare their hatred for each other and announce their WrestleMania match—but somehow, the first name out of their mouths was his. Cody says they called it a measuring contest, and it’s probably a good thing he’s not part of it.
Cody then asks, “What do you want to talk about?” He says he was born just down the street, and it’s a strange feeling to return to the place where it all started—and be empty-handed. He tells Drew that he wasn’t mad about being champion—he was mad that Cody was.
He ends by saying his own shame and discomfort will become Drew’s downfall. And that Drew won’t make it to WrestleMania.
Cathy Kelley is backstage with Giulia and Kiana James. She asks them about their WWE Women’s Tag Team Title match. Kiana says the titles are just a stepping stone on the path to Giulia becoming a triple champion. Giulia responds in Japanese, referencing the Elimination Chamber. Kiana adds that the Royal Rumble was just a blip. They plan to win the titles tonight, and then Giulia will win the Chamber and go on to face the champion at WrestleMania.
Nick Aldis tells Cody that if he wants a shot at Drew, he needs to qualify for the Elimination Chamber—and he’s got a match next week. Cody responds that he’ll control his emotions and leave.

Cathy Kelley is backstage with Randy Orton. She asks him about his opportunity to qualify for the Elimination Chamber. Randy says he’s not happy with how things went in the Royal Rumble. But tonight, when he wins and qualifies, it will mark his tenth Elimination Chamber match—more than anyone else—and that experience gives him the edge. Aleister Black walks up and says, “We said goodbye to two of the greatest… and we’re blessed to still have you, Randy.”
Kit Wilson makes his way to the ring and grabs a mic.
He says he is the topic—everyone’s talking about him. He was at the Royal Rumble, and what he witnessed absolutely disgusted him. Thirty chauvinistic pigs… toxic. Ugly meatheads… toxic. The sweating, the grunting… toxic. The temper tantrums… toxic. All those men fighting to be the biggest alpha? No wonder they didn’t want him in the match.
Kit declares himself the real man. A man who moisturizes. A man who listens. A man who moves his hips like this—he gyrates for the crowd and tells them to take him in. He calls the crowd toxic and says it’s not about them. If anyone from the Royal Rumble thinks they’re man enough to face him one-on-one, step up. He declares himself the tonic to all the toxic masculinity. T hat’s when Oba Femi’s music hits—and the NXT North American Champion struts down to the ring.

Fatu unloads with punches, then crushes Drew in the corner with a running hip attack. After a brief pause to hype himself up, Fatu clotheslines Drew over the top rope and follows with a suicide dive to the floor.

When Cathy brings up their qualifying match on Raw, Rhea says they’re open to adding more gold.
Nia Jax interrupts, saying Lash Legend should’ve been in the qualifier and that IYO and Rhea were lucky she wasn’t in the match. IYO asks if that’s a challenge, and Nia says they’ll take it up with Aldis. Raquel and Liv walk past, staring them down. Elsewhere, Kit Wilson blames Matt Cardona for everything, calling him toxic and saying it was all going away until he showed up. Matt simply replies, “I’m always ready.” Kit says he needs a warm bath and walks off while Cardona and Apollo Crews laugh. In the ring, Nick Aldis introduces Liv Morgan, who makes her entrance with Raquel Rodriguez.
Liv Morgan comes to the ring with Raquel Rodriguez. She grabs the mic and says the crowd is in the presence of the greatest Royal Rumble winner of all time—though she quickly corrects herself, saying she’s not just the greatest Rumble winner, she’s the hottest, smartest, funniest, most charismatic, most talented, and most iconic woman in WWE history. With that kind of power, Liv says, comes great responsibility, and now she has a big choice to make with not a lot of time.
Liv teases that she could choose to face either Stephanie Vaquer or Jade Cargill at WrestleMania, and says she’s thought really long and hard about it. But WrestleMania isn’t the only thing on her mind—there’s also a big elephant in the room. She turns to Raquel, who takes the mic and says she’d like to address that too. But before either can say more, Jade Cargill’s music hits and interrupts them.
Jade Cargill steps out and tells Liv Morgan she doesn’t care that she won the Royal Rumble or that she’s on SmackDown—if Liv chooses her, Jade says she’ll beat her ass at WrestleMania. Jade then turns her attention to Raquel and questions what she’s looking at. Liv laughs and calls Jade funny, warning her to watch what she says. She says she could just pick Stephanie Vaquer and let Raquel be the one to humble Jade—so they can both walk into WrestleMania and walk out champions.
Jordynne Grace interrupts next, congratulating Liv on earning her title shot and saying she did what she had to do. Grace adds that if she could just get the champion to defend the title, it might end up being her Liv has to face at WrestleMania. Liv laughs again and questions who Grace even is to interrupt her. Before things escalate further, Jade tells Liv to shut up and calls her a bitch. Nick Aldis comes out and tells them all to stop yelling. He says he’s willing to welcome Grace to SmackDown—but if they’re willing to talk, they’re willing to fight. He makes a tag match on the spot.

Backstage, Sami walks through the hallway and several people tell him, “You’ll get him next time.” Rey Fenix approaches and tells Sami he’s an inspiration, encouraging him not to give up.Trick Williams walks up and mocks Sami, saying he’s like the guy who makes it to the playoffs but never wins the title. “You’re Charles Barkley,” Trick says, “and I’m Michael Jordan.” He turns to Rey and asks who he’s going to listen to. Rey fires back, saying if Trick keeps talking, he’ll knock his teeth out. Trick just smirks and says, “Any time, anywhere.”
We take a look back at what happened between CM Punk and Roman Reigns on Raw, showing their intense face-off.
Drew McIntyre returns to the ring and says he has something to get off his chest. He demands that Cody Rhodes and Jacob Fatu be banned from Elimination Chamber qualifiers for attacking him. He brings up Sami Zayn, saying everyone believed in him—but Drew crushed those hopes, and that’s what happens to anyone who steps in the ring with him.
He turns his focus to CM Punk and Roman Reigns, saying he listened to what they said on Raw and was disappointed. For two top stars, they sounded insecure—one taking shots at him, the other telling the truth. What really bothered him was their attempt to make his title seem second-rate. That, Drew says, was a declaration of war.
Drew reminds everyone that he’s been through hell for this title and never quit. He’s not part-time and was there when the world shut down. He says this title was built by real men—and if you say it’s not the real championship, you’re a bald-faced liar. He understands why Roman hates Punk. One side has a 280-pound Scottish war machine, and the other has Fragile Phil. Drew says if it wasn’t for Punk’s family, he would’ve already destroyed him. Punk can chase “aura,” but the rest will be fighting for the real title—held by the real best in the world.
Trick Williams comes out and says he planned to sit back and watch the main event and the qualifying match, but had to speak up. He tells Drew he’s focused on the wrong people—Roman, Punk, Cody, and Fatu—when he should be worried about him. Trick says he’s the one who’s going to take the title.
Drew smirks and says Trick stepped up—but warns him to walk before he runs. If he interrupts the champ again, Drew says he’ll put his boots where the sun doesn’t shine.
Next week on SmackDown on Syfy: Rey Fenix goes one-on-one with Trick Williams. Jade Cargill defends the Women’s Championship against Jordynne Grace. Nia Jax and Lash Legend challenge Rhea Ripley and IYO SKY for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles. Alexa Bliss faces Giulia and Zelina Vega in an Elimination Chamber Qualifying Match. And in a huge triple threat qualifier, Jacob Fatu takes on Sami Zayn and Cody Rhodes.
