LeBron James Reveals Super Bowl Prediction Following Lakers-Warriors

Virtually every eye, all over the world, will be glued to the Super Bowl on Sunday. But leading up to the big game, everyone wants to know who you think will win. Up until the game-clock hits 00:00, and a champion is crowned for Super Bowl LX, the world wants all the predictions and prognostications it can get.

And who better to get a prediction from, on camera, than the great LeBron James. Fresh off a 105-99 victory by his Los Angeles Lakers over the Stephen Curry-less Golden State Warriors, James caught up with ESPN’s Lisa Salters for an on-court postgame interview. To conclude the interview, James wished everyone a “Happy Super Bowl Sunday”. Naturally, Salters followed up with an impromptu prediction request for the big game.

James did the “smart” thing, revealing which side he’d be taking on Sunday as the New England Patriots get set to take on the Seattle Seahawks.

“I got the winner,” James replied.

Salters then tossed the broadcast back over to play-by-play announcer, Mike Breen, as Breen remarked how smart of a choice (or lack of one) James had just made on live television.

“That’s the smartest decision he’s made tonight,” Breen said.

Prior to walking-the-line, giving the most neutral answer he could think of, James illuded to the fact that he’d upset half the crowd if he gave his true feelings.

“Na, people are going to be mad at me if I pick a team,” James said.

While James has previously stated publicly he’s a Cleveland Browns fan, most likely due to his ties to his hometown, Akron, Ohio, he’s also shown an affinity for the Dallas Cowboys in the past.

With James seemingly an impartial NFL fan for Sunday’s Patriots-Seahawks matchup, he’s decided not to publicly takes sides for this one.

As for the rest of the world, Super Bowl LX will kick-off at approximately 6:30 p.m. EDT inside Levi’s Stadium, the home of the San Francisco 49ers. According to DraftKings Sportsbook, the Seahawks are currently favored by 4.5 points.

The Patriots make their return to the Super Bowl for the twelfth time, the first since Tom Brady left the team, while the Seahawks will make their fourth Super Bowl appearance in franchise history.

No matter who wins this year’s Super Bowl, it appears James will be on the right side of history, as he’s “got the winner”.
