Lars Sullivan Drops Slur in Response to Protesters Throwing Adult Toys at Anti-ICE Rally

Lars Sullivan has re-emerged on social media—and his latest post is already getting attention for all the wrong reasons.

On February 8, 2026, the former WWE wrestler responded to a viral video showing chaos during an anti-ICE protest in Minnesota. In the clip, demonstrators mistakenly pelted a car with adult toys, thinking the driver was a counter-protester. As the man shouted, “I’m on your f****ing side!”, the moment quickly spread online due to its irony and absurdity.

Sullivan, however, took a much darker tone in his reaction as he dropped a slur, saying, “Literal re*****.” The tweet was unprompted and unfiltered, adding to the long list of controversial remarks Sullivan has made since his exit from WWE in 2021.

This follows a now-deleted tweet from 2025 in which Sullivan took shots at former WWE Champion Big E and the Black Lives Matter movement. Referring to Big E’s activism during the height of BLM, Sullivan wrote:

“Remember when this idiot went on a virtue signaling warpath in 2020? Why did this clown stop promoting BLM? It’s not fashionable anymore? Or did he realize that it’s a corrupt, racist organization that promotes a false narrative that fuels anti-white hate?”

The comments led to renewed interest in Sullivan’s long-standing reputation for controversial behavior. During his WWE tenure, he was fined $100,000 after old message board posts surfaced containing racist, sexist, and homophobic content.

While Sullivan has remained mostly out of the wrestling limelight since leaving WWE, his social media activity continues to speak volumes—and not in a way that shows he’ll gain any public favor.

Should social media platforms do more when figures like Lars Sullivan repeatedly post offensive content? Or is ignoring him the better approach? Drop your thoughts in the comments—we’re listening.
