Major League Wrestling (MLW) held its first TV taping of the year this past Saturday night, preparing for the relaunch of its flagship show, Fusion. A concerning incident occurred during the taping when Matthew Justice performed an incredibly high dive off a railing onto Joshua Bishop, who was positioned on a table. As Justice leaped, the railing shifted, causing him to miss the table completely and land on the floor.
According to PWInsider.com, they reached out due to reader concerns, and several sources confirmed that Justice was checked out backstage and is thankfully okay. There is currently no information on whether he will need any time off as a precaution before returning to action or if he will be able to continue without a break. Updates will be provided as they become available.
MLW teased the return of Fusion last month, but as of now, the specific premiere date for the show and its airing platform have not been announced. Previously, MLW: Fusion aired on beIN Sports and YouTube.
