5.Most Centuries (5)
Together with Australian batter Glenn Maxwell, Rohit Sharma set a record five T20I hundreds during his illustrious career in the format. Suryakumar Yadav, an Indian batsman who has now struck four hundreds in T20I cricket, is not far behind.

Out of 159 T20I matches, the 37-year-old Rohit Sharma has won 109 for India. He is the first and only cricket player to win 100 or more T20I matches, having led his team to victory in the 2024 T20 World Cup. Following Rohit are former Pakistani player Virat Kohli, who has 82 triumphs in 125 Twenty20 International games, and Shoaib Malik, who has 86 won in 124 matches.
3.Most Matches (159)
After playing the most T20I cricket matches of any player, captain Rohit Sharma, who won the T20 World Cup in 2024, announced his retirement from the sport. The 37-year-old played in the most games—159—of any cricket player to date. Paul Stirling of Ireland, who has played 145 games, is behind him.
2.Most Sixes (205)
The most sixes by a hitter in Twenty20 Internationals, Rohit Sharma blasted 205 in 151 innings. In this version of the game, the 37-year-old is the only batter to have hit 200 or more sixes.
1.Most Runs (4231)
The 37-year-old Rohit Sharma was the most successful batsman in the T20I format with 4231 runs scored in 159 games for the Indian cricket team. His strike rate was 140.89 and his average was 32.05. Virat Kohli, his colleague, is right behind him with 4188 runs in 125 games. After taking home his first-ever T20 World Cup trophy, Kohli also declared his retirement from the T20 format.
