News out of Japan for the D’Station Racings 2026 plans

The Japanese based D’Station Racing team confirmed some good news today as well as detailing a shift from their usual positions for their domestic racing programme this season.

Firstly, the good news was that of their Aston Martin Racing powered return to the topflight Super GT Series with drivers Tomonobu Fujii and Charlie Fagg pairing up again for their third season togther aboard their #777 entry.

Consistency is the name of the game for most series and teams and this consistency in team, drivers and suppliers for another season will put them in their best position yet within their GT300 class ahead of an eight-round season that kicks off at Okayama in mid-April.

The change in tack for the team comes within their Super Taikyu Series endeavours where the squad has moved totally away from the AMR Vantage platform with their STX entry now being a Ferrari 296 with their ST-1 entry continuing to be a Porsche 911 GT3 Cup car.

The team has raced at least one Aston Martin within the Japanese Endurance Series for many years now and goes somewhere to explain a social media post that we saw last month that suggested two such Vantage GT3’s from the team were for sale and possibly available to secure for entries within the GT World Challenge Asia or China GT Series.
