Key Insights on 2026 T20I Best Bowling Figures

Arshdeep Singh picked up the first five-wicket haul in T20Is in 2026. He claimed 5 for 51 against New Zealand in Thiruvananthapuram.

Arshdeep’s 5 for 51 is the most expensive five-wicket haul by a bowler in T20Is.

Pakistan’s Mohammad Nawaz and Sri Lanka’s Dushmantha Chameera claimed their best bowling figures in T20Is. Nawaz returned 5 for 18 against Australia in Lahore, while Chameera took 5 for 24 against England in Pallekele.

Nawaz’s 5 for 18 is the second-best bowling figure by a bowler against Australia in T20Is.

Chameera’s 5 for 24 is the best bowling analysis by a Sri Lankan and the joint-third best by any bowler against England in T20Is. 

Jacob Bethell delivered the best bowling figures for England against Sri Lanka in T20Is, returning 4 wickets for 11 runs in Pallekele.

Ireland’s Matthew Humphreys claimed his second career four-wicket haul, picking up 4 for 16 against Italy in Dubai.

Shamar Springer took the best figures for the West Indies against Afghanistan, claiming 4 for 20 in the Dubai T20I.

Springer also became the third West Indian bowler to pick up a T20I hat trick in that game.

Mujeeb Ur Rahman registered the second-best bowling figures for Afghanistan against the West Indies, taking 4 wickets for 24 runs in Dubai.

Australia’s Adam Zampa took his career-best figures against Pakistan, returning 4 for 24 in Lahore.  

Wanindu Hasaranga picked up his fifth four-wicket haul in T20Is – 4 for 35 against Pakistan in Dambulla. This puts him alongside Ajantha Mendis for the most four-wicket hauls for Sri Lanka in T20Is.

New Zealand’s Zak Foulkes has delivered the most expensive figures this year, conceding 67 runs for nought in three overs against India in Raipur. This is also the most expensive spell by a New Zealand bowler in T20Is.
