Rick Shiels faces Cameron Smith in a fun 18‑hole challenge at Glen Kernan, starting ten under par to see if he can fend off the Open Champion.
Rick Shiels has taken on some big golfing names over the years, but his latest challenge might be his toughest yet.
In a new video, the YouTube star goes head-to-head with Cameron Smith, who gives Shiels a massive ten‑shot head start over 18 holes at Glen Kernan Golf and Country Club in Jacksonville, Florida.
Smith hardly needs an introduction to Aussie golf fans. The Queenslander won the 150th Open Championship at St Andrews in 2022 and has gone on to become captain of Ripper GC on the LIV Golf League, where he’s already collected three wins. Glen Kernan has become his unofficial home base in the United States, and he certainly looks comfortable tearing it up around the place.
We particularly enjoyed the quiet, relaxed start to this one – the insights on the range while warming up.
