HANOVER, ON – A change of scenery in 2026 is on the agenda for long-time Ontario driver Jade Franklin. After spending the past few seasons behind the wheel of an INEX Legend Car, Jade has thrown his hat in the ring to join Two Speed Motorsports in a full-season effort to chase the Ontario Sportsman Series Championship.
While the past few seasons have been spent in a much smaller and lighter car, Jade brings a tremendous amount of experience in larger, full-size machinery after competing for several seasons in both Super Stock and Pro Late Model competition. He is excited to strap back into a full-bodied stock car and put that experience to work running 100-lap races on a consistent basis.
“Working with the team at Two Speed Motorsports has been a blast so far, and I really can’t thank the team and the McAllister family enough for the opportunity to drive this fast race car,” said Franklin. When asked about his goals for the season, Jade flashed a big grin, adding, “We have one task on our mind, and that is to have lots of fun while winning races. I should also mention that we do have some significant advertising space available, so if you’d like to win together, reach out.”
Speaking with Two Speed Motorsports President Cory McAllister, the enthusiasm was clear. “Jade and I have worked closely together for a number of years and have built a very strong relationship, with success always being our number-one goal. I feel Jade will be a great fit with Two Speed Motorsports, and I can’t wait to get going. We have some extremely talented racers in our camp, including young Austin Seburn in the No. 24, and now the addition of Jade in the No. 31, with a few more announcements still to come.”
