To celebrate the 50 days to go landmark for the ITTF World Team Table Tennis Championships Finals in London, Table Tennis England is organising Britain’s Greatest Rally on Monday 9 March.
Table tennis clubs, community groups and organisations from across the country are invited to help Table Tennis England achieve 100,000 rallies as part of the celebration event and start of the final countdown to the World Championships in London.
Taking place at OVO Arena Wembley and the Copper Box Arena, the World Championships will run from 28 April to 10 May 2026 and bring the best players in the world to England to compete for their nation.
Table Tennis England is aiming for Britain’s Greatest Rally to inspire the country to pick up a bat as part of this home World Championships.
Experienced players, enthusiasts and anyone interested in table tennis are invited to join in and set up tables at their club, community centre, leisure centre or school to get their community involved with hitting the 100,000 rally mark.
Whether it’s a casual session, ladder league or training evening, every rally counts!
Registration to host an activity as part of Britain’s Greatest Rally is open until Friday 20 February, with organisers receiving digital materials to help promote their activity. Register your activity on the button below.
Each venue will need to have an official witness who doesn’t play but submits the total number of rallies to Table Tennis England.
